Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy applies to the Reelova mobile application (hereinafter the "Application") provided by 406 Oceana LLC ("we", "us", or the "Service Provider"). Reelova is a streaming platform for licensed short-form vertical dramas. This policy describes what data the Application collects, why it is collected, and your rights regarding that data.

1. Information We Collect

The Application collects the following data necessary to operate the service, diagnose crashes, and monitor performance:

• Crash logs and stack traces — automatically generated when the Application crashes or encounters an unhandled error (collected via Firebase Crashlytics).
• Device information — device model, operating system version, system language, network type (Wi-Fi / cellular), and Application version.
• App activity — usage events such as screens viewed, series browsed, episodes watched, watch progress, features used, and session duration (collected via Firebase Analytics and our content delivery service). Watch history and preferences are used to resume playback and recommend series inside the Application.
• Purchase records — if you purchase virtual coins or unlock episodes, the transaction is processed entirely by the Google Play billing system. We receive a purchase token and order status to deliver your purchase; we never receive your card number or full payment details.
• Approximate location — country and city derived from your IP address, used for content licensing regions and language defaults. We do not request precise GPS-level location and the Application does not request any location permission.
• Pseudonymous installation identifier — an installation-specific identifier (App Instance ID) generated by Firebase, which cannot be linked to your real-world identity.

The Application does NOT collect:

• Your name, phone number, or any directly identifying information, unless you voluntarily provide an email address when contacting support.
• Precise (GPS-level) location data. The Application does not request location permissions.
• Photos, videos, audio files, or documents stored on your device.
• Contacts, calendar entries, or messages.
• Browsing history outside the Application.
• Biometric data, financial information, or health information.

2. How We Use the Information

The data collected is used solely to:

• Stream licensed drama series to your device and resume playback where you left off.
• Deliver purchases (virtual coins, episode unlocks) that you make through Google Play.
• Recommend series and personalize the content feed inside the Application.
• Detect, diagnose, and fix crashes and bugs in the Application.
• Improve stability, streaming quality, and overall performance.
• Maintain compatibility across different device models and Android versions.

We do not sell or rent your data, and we do not build behavioral profiles for resale.

3. Third-Party Services

The Application relies on the following third-party services to operate:

• Google Play Services — required for installation, updates, and Android system integration.
• Google Play Billing — processes all in-app purchases. Payment details are handled entirely by Google.
• Firebase Crashlytics — collects crash reports as described above. Crash data is processed by Google LLC on our behalf under the Firebase Data Processing and Security Terms.
• Firebase Analytics — collects usage events (App Instance ID, app interactions, approximate location from IP). Processed by Google LLC on our behalf under the Firebase Data Processing and Security Terms.

4. Data Sharing and Disclosure

We share limited data only with the third-party services listed in Section 3, for the specific purposes described. We do not sell, rent, or trade your data to any other party. We may disclose information only in the following limited circumstances:

• When required by law, court order, or a valid government request.
• When necessary to protect our legal rights, investigate fraud, or respond to security incidents.

5. Data Retention

Retention periods differ by data type:

• Crash reports (Firebase Crashlytics) — retained for up to 90 days, then automatically deleted.
• Analytics events (Firebase Analytics) — retained for up to 14 months at the user level, then automatically deleted.
• Watch history and coin balance — retained for as long as the Application is installed, and for up to 12 months thereafter so that your balance and progress can be restored if you reinstall.
• Purchase records — retained as required by tax and accounting law.

You may request earlier deletion of any data associated with your installation at any time by emailing support@reelovaapp.com. We will respond and complete deletion within 7 business days.

6. Data Security

All data transmitted between the Application and our service providers is encrypted in transit using industry-standard TLS. We rely on Google's infrastructure-level security controls for the storage of crash and analytics data through Firebase.

7. International Users and Regional Compliance

The Application is offered globally. If you are accessing the Application from outside the United States, please be aware that your data may be transferred to and processed in the United States and other countries where our service providers operate.

Mexico (LFPDPPP) — Users in Mexico have rights under the Ley Federal de Protección de Datos Personales en Posesión de los Particulares, including ARCO rights (Access, Rectification, Cancellation, and Opposition). To exercise these rights, contact support@reelovaapp.com.

Brazil (LGPD) — Users in Brazil have rights under Lei Geral de Proteção de Dados (Law No. 13,709/2018), including the right to access, correct, delete, and port their data. To exercise these rights, contact support@reelovaapp.com.

European Economic Area (GDPR) — Although the Application is not primarily targeted at EEA residents, users in the EEA have rights under the General Data Protection Regulation. The legal bases for our data processing are performance of a contract (delivering the streaming service and your purchases, Article 6(1)(b) GDPR) and our legitimate interest in maintaining application stability (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR).

California (CCPA / CPRA) — California residents have specific privacy rights. We do not "sell" or "share" personal information as those terms are defined under California law.

8. Your Rights

Regardless of your location, you may:

• Stop all data collection by uninstalling the Application from your device.
• Request deletion of any data associated with your installation.
• Request a copy of the data we hold about you.
• Lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

9. Children's Privacy

The Application is not directed to children under 13 years of age, and we do not knowingly collect data from children under 13. Some series may contain themes intended for mature audiences. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided us with information, please contact support@reelovaapp.com and we will promptly delete it.

10. Changes to This Policy

This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time to reflect changes in the Application or applicable law. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page will be revised whenever changes are made. Continued use of the Application after such changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy. For material changes, we will provide reasonable notice within the Application or through other appropriate means.
